ECLaPS will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). Thanks to sponsorship from UQAM’s computer science department, there is no cost to attend ECLaPS.
Presenting #
To propose a talk, please fill in the talk proposal form by November 1, 2026. Talks will be twenty minutes followed by five minutes of questions. There is no need for presenters to register.
Registration #
Though there is no cost to attend ECLaPS, we ask that you please register by November 8, 2026 to help us plan lunch reservations and coffee breaks.

The meeting will take place in room PK-5115 of UQAM’s Pavillon Président-Kennedy, located at 201, avenue du Président-Kennedy, Montréal, Québec.

Getting there #
Plane #
For attendees arriving via Montréal-Trudeau airport, public transit provides the easiest and cheapest way to reach downtown Montreal. Upon exiting from the international or domestic arrivals sections, you will encounter a long hallway along a glass wall separating you from the street. Turning right down this hallway, you will see orange and blue STM ticket machines near exit door 27. Tickets cost $11 and are valid for 24 hours on all public transit in Montreal. Exiting to the street, you will see a long bus shelter around the bend to your right, where you can catch the 747 bus to downtown Montreal.
Train #
For attendees arriving by train, the VIA rail station (Gare Centrale) is a 1.2km walk from the venue.
Metro #
Take the green line to Place-des-Arts station and take exit B, which will lead you to the building entrance. The elevators are next to the security desk, and room PK-5115 is next to the elevators.
